country. the unemployment rate fell below 8% for the first time in nearly four years. the labor department says the jobless rate fell to 7.8% and employers add 114,000 jobs. the numbers come as welcome news for president obama who campaigned in northern virginia today. fox 5's tom fitzgerald was with the president today and has the latest from the trail. >> reporter: for president obama it was a much needed shot in the arm. >> this morning we found out that the unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level since i took office.
